Fashion occupies an important place in the world today. Viewing the increasing demand for new/innovative styles and designs in today’s world of fashion, Namuna College of Fashion Technology for bachelor’s level in fashion design was established in 2002 with a purpose of imparting quality education related to the world of fashion designing. Till date bachelor’s level in fashion designing had only been taught abroad. Therefore, the establishment of Namuna College of Fashion Technology, being the first of its kind, can be viewed as a milestone in the educational sector of Nepal. Fashion is synonymous with creativity, experience and professionalism which will be imparted upon you by teachers with vast experience , a high level of creativity and a high degree of professionalism.

Namuna College of Fashion Technology is an innovative academic institution founded by Mrs.Gyani Shova Tuladhar, the creative force behind Namuna Silai a household name in the world of Nepalese fashion, with over 32 years of experience in fashion designing. The founder principal of NCFT, Mrs.Tuladhar had completed fashion designing course from Bombay in late 70’s.

The college aims to provide through and fully grounded education in fashion designing that will enable the graduates to be ready and well equipped to face the challenges of the new millennium.

• To develop confidence in the students to become models, choreographers, fashion designers, fashion merchandisers, computer aided designers in fashion etc.

VISION

NCFT aims to attain its mission by establishing itself as a pioneer fashion design college and by providing most resources to the design students, facilitating the advanced technologies within the college for the knowledge enhancement of both faculty and students and by keeping the relations with the foreign design institutions for the training of the faculties time and again.
